Mighty List of Web App Directories to Promote your Startup

When I first decided to get my first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product underway called Eccountant after years of running a digital agency. Trying to solve our own accounting and project management problems, we created Eccountant. Where I spent months planning it all out with my co-founder Zain. Mapping out the marketing ideas, content strategy, design mockups, usability design and ultimately how the software would work. We already had an internal version we used at our agency, but this version would be rebuilt from the ground up – ready to solve similar problems for others too. We spent three months mapping everything out. I would NEVER advise you to spend as long as we did for several reasons. 1. Talk to your potential customers to see if people really need your product then Just get it Built. Then start getting users, and THEN spend your time mapping things out. 2. For every day, you spend on planning is a day you aren’t developing it. Planning is not bad but execution is better. I spent that much time on planning because, well, I really enjoyed it! I’m a marketer at heart, so thinking of all these great ways to grow your product was fun for me. Plus, it was my first venture into SaaS, so I wanted to learn as much as possible (and I’m still learning).
